"His love affair with slate stone started back in the eighties when as a young boy we would take our family vacation in the hills of Wales. Fun fact, the Welsh and New England slate belt were once joined together and over millions of years of tectonic plate moment they now reside on different continents, just like the kid who explored the slate mines of Wales with his father. Fast forward to the present and you can now find him working hard in Vermont creating one of a kind switch plates and Nest wall plates for you."
Ian now resides in Vermont with wife Casey and his two daughters. When he is not cutting slate switch plates he can be found coaching multiple soccer teams, volunteering at his kids school, snowboarding or motor cross riding. Best and most rewarding part of this business he dreamed up, it now gives him the opportunity to carve out precious family time.
